“Totally like whatever, you know?”

A professor of mine showed this video near the end of last semester, and it has had quite an impact on the way I think about language. I’ve been in the habit of using these softening words in my own speech. This poem has given me a motivation to be more careful about how I speak.
Perhaps this poem will have as big an influence on you as it has had on me.
